Senior Salutes is a new program that was started on the Norwalk Boys Soccer Team for the 2024 season. Each senior soccer player/manager selected a teacher or school employee who was most impactful to them during their time in the Norwalk Community School District. Each player wrote a thank you note sharing how that teacher made a difference in their life. They also presented the teacher they selected with a shirt, personalized with their last name and number on the back and an invitation to attend their last home game on Monday, April 29th against DCG. Teachers wore the shirts to school and to the game that evening. Teachers who were honored were introduced before the game.
Thank you to each of the honorees for making an impact in the lives of our senior soccer players/manager and for being there to show your support of them at their last home soccer game. We also want to thank Bowen Designs for designing and producing the shirts being worn by our teachers.
